Background...

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is the eighth studio album by the English rock band the Beatles. Released on 26 May 1967,[nb 1] Sgt. Pepper is regarded by musicologists as an early concept album that advanced the roles of sound composition, extended form, psychedelic imagery, record sleeves, and the producer in popular music. The album had an immediate cross-generational impact and was associated with numerous touchstones of the era's youth culture, such as fashion, drugs, mysticism, and a sense of optimism and empowerment. Critics lauded the album for its innovations in songwriting, production and graphic design, for bridging a cultural divide between popular music and high art, and for reflecting the interests of contemporary youth and the counterculture.

The vinyl is lovely... It has a super glossy sheen to the surface  and  sits completely flat with no warping, clean labels and good spindle holes!!! Has some non feelable surface wispy hairs. Spindle trails can be seen at an angle.

The outer GATEFOLD cover has retained a gorgeous bright colour and sheen, has no splits or tears. Age related wear to the corners/edges/spine as to be expected for an item of this age. Has some crinkles to the outer protective film. DISPLAYS THE SAUGHT AFTER WIDE SPINE.

Green Peter Blake Cutouts are excellent as seem to have always been kept within the gatefold.

Completing the set is the often missing Red Fool's Swirl Inner  - has retained a lovely colour and has no tears. Splits to seams.

OVERALL A GREAT PIECE TO ADD TO YOUR MUSICAL COLLECTION!!!
