Description

For sale is this great vintage LP of THE BEATLES - SGT. PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND on Parlophone Records, 1967. Also included is an associated double vinyl "White Label" LP set of THE BEATLES - LIVE AT PARIS OLYMPIA / AT SHEA STADIUM on an unknown label. The live double LP is added as a collectable item only.

  • SGT. PEPPER: UK Parlophone stereo pressing of unknown age with full gatefold Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve and cut-outs insert. Matrices are YEX637 6 - 3 - 2 - 1 and YEX637 6 - 1 - 4 - 2.
The sleeve is graded Excellent (EX) with only light wear. The colour at the front is a little faded. Original cardboard cut-outs insert is Near Mint (NM). The disc is VG+, clean with some light surface marks but nothing that intrudes into the audio beyond occasional crackle. The record has been play tested in sections throughout and plays well.
  • LIVE PARIS OLYMPIA / AT SHEA STADIUM: Unofficial white label pressing on unknown imprint. Disc One is a live recording of The Beatles' full show at the Paris Olympia June 20th 1965 in front of what sounds like a predominantly male audience. Disc Two side one is interview clips of The Beatles around the time of the Shea stadium concert and some of the warm-up artists including Murray The "K". Side Two is The Beatles' concert appearance August 14th 1965. 

Condition: The sleeve is VG+ with very light wear only and visible impression of the disc in the thin card. The discs are all Near Mint (NM) with the exception of side four which has some light surface scuffing that does not intrude into the audio. Both discs play flawlessly with the proviso that the sound quality of the original source recordings is very poor.
These records are sold as collectable items only, "as found" at auction with no reserve.
