Description
Description: A copy of the Beatles' psychedelic 1967 classic, Sargent Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band. This is a US copy, released by Capitol.
It is a true first pressing, as the album was issued in June of 1967. There is no mention of NEMS on the back of the sleeve. Song two on side one is listed as "A Little Help from My Friends".
Rainbow labels on the disc. Matrix number MAS-1-2653-F1 #5 and MAS2-2653-F1 #4
Color printed inner sleeve by The Fool, Peter Blake-designed insert present and in fine condition.
Condition: Wear to sleeve, split in the middle of the spine edge.
Disc has some light surface wear. It generally plays fine, with minimal crackling, save for "She's Leaving Home" where, for some reason the high notes are a little blown out and there's quite a bit of noise. I've cleaned the record lightly, a more thorough clean would undoubtedly improve the sound.
