A BEAUTIFUL, GENUINE FACTORY SAMPLE OF THIS FIRST ISSUE 1967 MONO ALBUM RELEASE FROM, THE BEATLES.

  No doubt, this album is one of the Iconic albums of the 20th Century, ‘Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’ was released by EMI/Parlophone UK on the 1st June 1967, in both mono and stereo formats. The album went straight to Number one, and dominated the top position in the charts for 23 weeks!

   Album Description and Condition:

  This First Issue Factory Sample **mono** Vinyl LP is on the traditional Black & Yellow Parlophone Label, with ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd label’ rim, with ‘Sold in the UK’ and ‘Made in Gt. Britain’ printed to both sides of the record labels labels.

  Both record labels are in Mint Minus condition, beautiful, clean and bright record labels showing only one play sign on side 1 and the official white with red print pointed end Factory Sample Sticker and a KT Tax Code, side 2 record label shows a couple of play signs.

  Side 1 matrix’s XEX 637-1, and Side 2 XEX 638-1.

  Side 1 stampers, 4 P M and Side 2, 3 L R.

  Both sides of the immaculate LP in Mint Minus condition, beautiful, clean and bright surfaces to both sides, with just a couple of light surface hairlines on side 1.

  The LP plays throughout with superb sound quality, without skips, clicks or pops with a clear and powerful sound quality.

  The Vinyl LP comes in it’s original Near Mint Made in Gt Britain flame inner bag, and also includes it’s original Near Mint Sgt Pepper unused, uncut, card cut-out.

  And are protected in it’s original and stunning First Issue Fully Laminated Garrod & Lofthouse Internal Flip back, **WIDE SPINE EDGE** Gate-fold Sleeve correctly printed ‘PMC 7027 Mono’ to the reverse.

  This Gate-fold Sleeve is simply stunning and has the rarer Wider Spine Edge, and is in immaculate Mint Minus condition with a Mint centre gate-fold. The sleeve still retains its very deep gloss laminate to the front, inner gate-fold and reverse, with no fading to the colours, and only minimal storage to the reverse panel. There are no seam splits to any of the edges, and only a couple of minute corner bumps.

Below are examples of the more common spine edge, and this much wider, rarer spine edge.

The gate-fold centre of the sleeve is in beautiful condition and still cracks when opened, and to avoid damage to the spine edge laminate i have not opened the centre fully. Both internal fold over flaps are undamaged. The wide spine edge is perfect, firm and undamaged with NO laminate flaking, and clearly reads 'Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band'.

  The reverse panel of the sleeve is also in undamaged immaculate condition too.

  A complete and beautiful example of this mono Factory Sample version of The Beatles classic 1967 UK Album, with a rare wide spine gate-fold sleeve.
