Up for bid is The Beatles  SGT PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND LP  on UK Parlophone label PCS 7027, stereo .   Insert included.

Made in Great Britian.

1st published in 1967, this is a 1978 issue in Excellent condition.   See large pictures.

This is an analog pressing true to the original UK release and not a digital remaster.   Plays Excellent.

Contains the hidden inner groove track at the end of side 2.  This track usually shows up on UK releases, not on US issues.  The needle must travel the whole inner groove to hear the complete message.  If the tone arm doesn't lift up, the message repeats itself again and again indefinitely.   If you listen to the sample, you will hear the first second of the inner groove track as the tonearm on my current turntable is automatic and does not travel the whole inner groove.

 

Typed Matrix:  YEX-637-6-1-2,   YEX-638-6-1-2-2.

The gatefold cover is EX  with some light scuffs and very light ring wear. The edges are excellent except for a small split at the center of the top edge of the back gatefold.

Original inner sleeve is VG.  A little wrinkled around the edges.  One side is partially split. Light age.

The vinyl is EX  with a small number of light scuffs.  Plays excellent.

The labels are NM-  with a small number of light spindle marks.  Light defection at the hole.

The Sgt Pepper insert is NM with a couple minor tiny crease marks on one edge.

LP stored in a poly sleeve.

 

This LP will be safely packaged in a cardboard record mailer with bubble wrap and an extra cardboard insert.   The vinyl ships outside the cover to prevent splitting.
