The Beatles- 'Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band’ UK Mono original  pressing – LABEL OMITS ‘A DAY IN THE LIFE’!!! ***IMPOSSIBLEY RARE!***

***Starting on auction here is a HUGELY RARE BEATLES record, an original Mono pressing of their Iconic 1967 album, SGT PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND, but with a MAJOR difference, this particular copy was part of only a VERY small number to be released without ‘A Day In The Life’ song credit on label two. BARELY ANY COPIES OF THIS ALBUM WERE RELEASED, THOSE THAT WERE RELEASED WERE QUICKLY WITHDRAWN, LEAVING ONLY A HANDFUL TO BE LEFT AND SOLD!!! THIS IS CERTAINLY ONE OF THE RAREIST BEATLES UK RELEASES TO EXIST!! The usual matrix numbers apply to a mono pressing of this album, these being XEX 637-1 for side one, and XEX 638 – 1 for side two.***

***The condition of the record shows that it has been played, however visually is still extremely respectable, with an extremely clean playing surface under normal light, with only some light hairlines/ scuffs that are only visible when viewed under a bright desktop lamp. The grading to the visual condition of the record would certainly grade as VERY GOOD PLUS!! The all important labels grade as EXCELLENT condition, very clean without any annoying stickers and no discoloration- some very small initials written in black biro on both labels but these are BARELY visible!!! There is no spindle wear, just some light spindle markings. The record when played does display some surface noise in certain tracks (particularly the easily damaged ‘she’s leaving home’) however for the majority this is a very listenable copy, with no distortion, a grading of VERY GOOD MINUS for side one and VERY GOOD for side two for audio with NO jumping or skipping at any point during play.***

***The main sleeve is its correct LAMINATED gatefold flipback sleeve grading as being in EXCELLENT condition! A superb example of a sleeve which is nearly always in no better than average condition, the lamination bears no creases, the edges of the sleeve are superb, and the spine is near perfect - only VERY minor rubbing/wear to the corners and some faint initials to the back (the same that are on the labels!) The original ‘cutout’ sheet is present also, as is its original plain white inner which are both in NEAR MINT!  ***

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.

Near Mint (NM) The record looks brand new with no scuffing or any deterioration in sound quality and only the smallest hint that its ever been played. The cover and any additional extras are clean, crisp and with no wear whatsoever.

Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair (F) The record is still just about playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
