Description
Offered is: "The Beatles Second Album." This is a Stereo issue with the Black Capitol Rainbow labels, ST-2080. This is a Scranton "I AM" pressing. The number 3 is located at the back cover.
This is without doubt the most scarce edition for this title!
There were at least three corrections to the original labels for this record. The second and rarest is the misspelling of the Side 2, track 2 title, "I Call Your Name." The Keystone company mistakenly printed the title "I Call You Name." In addition, the timing for track 2 was also mistakenly left off the label! These errors were quickly discovered and corrected yet again!
It is not known how many copies of these label error units were sold before the next correction was made. It was certainly a small number, which makes this particular error version very scarce indeed!
This record has been fully play graded: VG+ / VG++, with just light intermittent surface sound. Excellent sound quality! VG++ Surface!
Labels: Mint minus.
Cover: VG minus, with one-half inch splits at top and bottom of spine. One other half inch split at lower right seam.
