THE BEATLES - 'SECOND ALBUM'
This NEAR MINT U.S. STEREO of their 1964 2nd LP is a 1968/1969 subsidiary pressing on the rainbow Capitol label: ST-2080
This East Coast/Scranton, Pennsylvania pressed variant includes the running time for 'Long Tall Sally' but omits it from 'I Call Your Name' on the side 2 label.
Matrix numbers: ST-1-2080-A3*3 & ST-1-2080-B4#2
Disc weight: 128g
Housed in a thick poster-board cover with pasted front slick and the printed code '12' in the rear lower right corner.
Complete with its original 'rust' coloured Capitol advertising inner-sleeve which depicts 'Rubber Soul', amongst others.

A perfect set with no marks or wear to either centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Immaculate playing surfaces which are mark/wear free in strong daylight, bearing only a few harmless wispy paper hairlines from inner-sleeve removal on side 2 directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp. Both sides of this outstanding disc lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: MINT
This barely, if ever played disc sounds flawless throughout with no trace of any groove/play wear distortion or indeed any other audible distractions or wear.
Cover: NEAR MINT
A superb clean & unworn example with an immaculate front panel slick which bears no signs of any rubbing or ringwear, usually so common to these unlaminated covers. All corners are perfectly shape and unbumped and have no splits & both opening edges are unworn. The rear panel is clean & bright overall with just a hint of toning along the rear opening edge, but no other blemishes of any kind. Both seams are fully intact and unsplit and the spine is clean and fully worded.

Uncreased, unsplit and 'as new'.
