The Beatles  "Second Album"

This is an original US vinyl pressing on Capitol ST-2080 from 1964.     This is the Stereo pressing on the black label with the rainbow colorband.     This is the West coast pressing which is CAP 2080.SR1B in Bruce Spizer's book.     On the side two label the first two songs : 'Long Tall Sally' and 'I Call Your Name' do not have times.     The record comes in the original royal blue Capitol inner sleeve.

The matric numbers are hand etched :  Side one : ST-1-2080-B-6 and side two :  ST-2-2080-A-5.       

The songs are :  Roll Over Beethoven, Thank You Girl, You Really Got A Hold On Me, Devil In Her Heart, Money, You Can't Do That, Long Tall Sally, I Call Your Name, Please Mr. Postman, I'll Get You, and She Loves You.  

Overall Condition is : Cover is M- /  Record is M-

The cover is mint minus.     It has no seam splits, no writing, and no bent corners.     It does have very slight front cover wear.    The vinyl looks near mint and it plays near mint, with very slight handling marks.    The label are clean with a few light spindle marks.        The record comes in a Capitol Records inner sleeve.

I started collecting records in 1966.     I started selling in Goldmine in 1985.      I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby.       And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.     My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.  

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.     Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard.       Together they are very strong and unbendable.   ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )       I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve.     The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides. 

Postage :  Weight : 1 pound 5 ounces

You have to pay for the postage.     I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges.   There are no handling charges.     This record will weigh 21 ounces ( 1 pound, 5 ounces ) when ready to ship.   US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail.    All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and an automatic email with the tracking number.      Overseas winners will get shipping by First Class Mail International.    You will get an automatic email with the customs/tracking number.     I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday)   I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.      If you do win more than one record, please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.
