Description
This is the original second Christmas Flexi by The Beatles on the Lyntone label catalogue number Lyn 757. Not too many of this particular flexi have survived in such a beautiful condition as many suffered as a result of bad handling, storage etc. The flimsy manufacturing rendered these flexi's very vulnerable to damage and required careful handling and storage. This particular copy has been very carefully looked after and is in an outstanding condition. What is even rarer is that it comes with the original mailer and envelope stiffener with a post mark of 20th December 1964. The envelope was carefully opened on receipt leaving very little damage other than can be seen in the scan -Beautiful.
The outer sleeve is in great shape, the only fault being some staining to the top (and less so the bottom) flipbacks. This looks like glue staining from the time period, it certainly looks very old.
The disc itself looks unplayed although I guess it must have been played at least once. The playing surface retains a beautiful shine and does not displays any scratches or other marks whatsoever. The label is almost as new, retaining a nice bright appearance.
The item is complete with the original insert that does have some minor creasing but no stains or other damage.
This item is a very rare find and is in an outstanding condition.
