Description
I'm clearing out some rare records over the coming weeks and months. Check my other auctions.
Also- please read the auction conditions at the end and message me before bidding if you have questions. If you wait until after bidding to work out issues I will just cancel your order. Thanks.
Beatles- Sgt Pepper. First pressing Australian banner label stereo PSCO7027. EMI Australia could not manufacture gatefold sleeves in 1967 so until 1969, stereo copies were equipped with UK sleeves, inserts and inner sleeves.
Sleeve is VG; it has one major flaw which is the tear on the top corner. Otherwise is has some light ceasing and marking but it fully legible and otherwise unmarked. Spine is intact and edges are unmarked. Insert has some light creasing and wear, inner sleeve is VG+ with some light wear and tears to the opening otherwise fine.
The LP looks lovely and plays with only light wear throughout, both sides are a strong VG. Hardly any visible wear on either side; plays great.
I try to undergrade more than overgrade so bid with confidence!
I grade conservatively to UK Record Collector Standard. PLEASE read and know this standard before bidding as I don't want to have to explain gradings to bidders that are unfamiliar with it.
Postage is at cost. I only send outside Australia by Registered Post as I've had lost parcels too many times. This means around A$32 for an LP, or up to A$25 for a 7" single. Yes, this is expensive but this is what I get charged from the post office. Postage within Australia is A$9.20
If you have any other concerns or questions PLEASE ASK BEFORE BIDDING! Thanks!
