Description

The Beatles Sgt Pepper Vinyl LP. Original UK mono version. Yellow & black Parlophone label, early 1st press with the wide spine cover, the original inner sleeve and complete cut out sheet with the 'Sold In.U.K.' label text error and 'The Gramophone Co Ltd...' label text. XEX-637-1 XEX-638-1 matrices - the very 1st Pressing!   The Garrod & Lofthouse laminated gatefold sleeve is intact & in EX condition. The wide spine is intact and clear.  The original fool red inner and the Sgt Pepper cut out sheet are both present and in EX condition.   The record is in visually EX condition, with faint surface hairlines visible on each side under strong light . The labels are in EX condition with minor evidence of spindle markings on each side.   Sound reproduction is clear and dynamic throughout with no loud pops or crackles. No skips, sticks or jumps.  There is brief background surface noise in places and during the run in grooves. Overall a really excellent listen!
