Listed here is a RARE album by The Beatles titled Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. This is a UK Original 1st Pressing on Parlophone PMC 7027. This MONO copy is pressed on the very collectable Yellow/Black Parlophone label. This is the real deal 1st press with “sold in UK...” and “Gramophone Co Ltd” text on label indicating first press. Also has KT tax code on side 2. Fully laminated gatefold sleeve is printed by Garrod & Lofthouse. Has the early matrix numbers.
Matrix numbers: XEX 637-1 / XEX 638-1
VINYL - Both sides of the record are in VG- condition. There is minor/light background noise/static throughout which is most noticeable between the tracks and on the run-ins. NO skips, NO Jumps, NO sticking. They are a few light pops, there are also quite a lot of hairline scratches, which don’t produce clicks, apart from two small ones which do produce a couple of light clicks. Record plays all the way through and still is very enjoyable to listen too. And has NO major sound defects.
SLEEVE - The fully laminated gatefold sleeve is in VG condition. There is spine wear (text is not readable), also this is a small split on middle of spine (1inch long), tiny amount of edge wear, NO Tears, small amount of creasing. NO rub marks, NO Pen marks/writing or Graffiti. NO ring wear. Still has retained its lovely shinny/glossy finish.
Original cut-out insert is in Near Mint condition, NO Tears, NO Pen marks/writing or Graffiti
Original inner is in VG condition, has a split down bottom side, NO Writing or Graffiti.
Label’s are in VG+ condition. Some spindle marks, NO Writing or Graffiti.
(note: never grade Mint as I believe once it’s been played, even just once it’s no longer Mint)
