Description

Looking for a really pristine copy - and don't necessarily need to go right back to the seventies? What about a 30 year old EMI copy? This Xmas '91 example by EMI is a bit of a cracker [if you pardon the pun]. And remember - by this point even Beatles Lp pressings were getting pretty thin on the ground. Side 2 label mentions the track 'Lonley H earts Club' - whoops!
An original '91 copy by EMI pressed at reasonable weight - given the period. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover which mimics the wide-spine of the very earliest gatefold design. There's no doubting that re-introducing the wide spine design was a great idea. The print and card quality of the cover seems pretty good overall with left panel sealed shut. The original cut-outs are present as is the original poly-lined ['91 dated] inner sleeve. So, we're 100% genuine and 100% complete. If you need an archive copy...well worth taking a look at this one.  
Vinyl (Ex+) Absolutely pristine and you'd struggle to find one looking anywhere near this smart. Waste wax is still present in the spindle whole. Mirrorlike surfaces. This copy has seen extremely slight use. Under close inspection I'm struggling to make out any marks of any substance. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback without reservation. Intros and inbetweens are perfectly quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. If you really want to witness all those trick low-key moments that the Beatles perfected with a totally clean backdrop - this copy is going to get you there. ALL tracks play amazingly clean - and that includes all the fussy numbers like SLH,WI84, and WYWY. It is a beautiful musical beast - and it will thoroughly impress from start to finish. FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Ex+) And if the vinyl wasn't enough to attract your attention what abut the cover. Was it printed yesterday? Well, it looks like it was - but this cover is - incredibly - 30 years old. Easy to grade in reality - because it is perfect in every way. And that's something that is very unusual anywhere in the vintage market. Perfectly flat with no creasing or wear. No dulling in colours. No hidden indentations. The interior is perfect. Four point corners. Perfect edges. That wide spine is absolutely spot on - and will look very darn tidy on someone's shelf. Even othe opening edges are razor sharp. FINAL UPGRADE.
