I am selling many BEATLES LPs (duplicates) from my collection. So, please check my other auctions.

IN THIS AUCTION:

·       “SGT. PEPPER’S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND” by the Beatles

·       This LP is Capitol Records MAS - 2653.

·       This is a MONAURAL (MONO) PRESSING.

·       The COVER is NEAR MINT/NEAR MINT MINUS. It’s NICE and CLEAN with only a tiny corner push at top right and a hint of wear on the bottom right corner. NO WEAR AT ALL evident on the red reverse cover where wear most easily shows.

·       The VINYL is NEAR MINT MINUS. There are some very light surface hairlines/scuffs.

·       This is a FIRST PRESSING MONO COPY OF THIS LP because the labels don’t “subsidiary” in the label’s perimeter printing, and it has the shortened song title “A Little Help From My Friends” on the side 1 label.

·       This LP was issued June 1, 1967.

·       The vinyl comes in its properly marked MONO cover (MAS – 2653)

·       It comes with its original custom red, pink and white inner sleeve that has NO SPLITS.

·       It also comes with the poster-board sheet of Sgt. Pepper cut-outs which is also NEAR MINT.

·       The MONO version of this LP has become VERY DESIREABLE and HARD-TO-FIND in DECENT CONDITION like this one. I’ve always heard that John Lennon remarked that you haven’t really heard Sgt. Pepper as it was intended to sound if you haven’t heard it in the original Mono.

·       It’s REALLY A GREAT MONO BEATLES LP to add to your vinyl collection.

Thanks to Perry Cox’s Price Guide for the Beatles American Records for information about this LP.
