Description
Hor Zu Electrola SHZE 401 German 1969 stereo pressing. These LP's were only available through mail-order and this one remains in incredible condition. Matrix A1/B2. Vinyl weight-160gs and comes housed in its original heavyset gatefold with the Odeon credit on the rear and red Hor Zu sticker on the front.
Vinyl (NM) I don't often use 'Near Mint' as a grading for vintage records, but it is warranted in this case. The vinyl is in immaculate condition and I would say it has only been played a small number of times. There are no markings or spindle wear evident even under very close inspection. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. There's no static crackle at all and the inbetweens and intros are silent. The audio comes across with great clarity without a hint of interference.
Cover (NM) Ditto above..and the quality of manufacture again here is very evident. The cover remains rigid with almost no signs of wear at all. Thanks to the quality of lamination the cover is shiney like new and the vivid colours look like new. The spine is totally intact and even the opening are 'sharp' which is quite unusual for a record of this age.
So whether you're interested in its historic value, or just want a damn good listen this LP is well worth a look.
