Complete LP With Fools Inner Sleeve & Cut Outs
This is a lovely copy of a First Press, Mono Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band LP. which I have owned from new in 1967!
It has the First Press "THE GRAMOPHONE CO. LTD." Around the record rim and "SOLD IN THE UK SUBJECT TO RESALE PRICE CONDITIONS, SEE PRICE LIST" across the label.
The fully laminated, Peter Blake designed Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve is in nice, strong, undamaged condition, with just odd signs of corner and spine wear and one or two minor creases, but otherwise nice and original.
Its Matrices are Side One XEX 637-1 & Side Two XEX 638-1. The Mothers & Stampers are Side One ‘6’ & ‘GOG’, translating to ‘151’ and Side Two ‘7’ & ‘GHM’, being ‘174’.
The vinyl is heavy EMI 60s and is really nice condition, with just two light marks on side one and one tiny hair line on side two, but, in this superb, lustre-like condition it would rate as Excellent. Really lovely and with minimal spindle rubs and no wear, as such.
It has the 1966/67 KT tax code around the spindle hole, thus proving its First Press authenticity, too.
It comes with the original ‘Fools Inner’, being the red & white flame and complete with the card-board cut out inserts.
All in all a nice, original copy of this iconic record, complete and in fantastic condition, with one careful owner!
Sales and postage in ad to the UK only and please bear in mind that the price quoted may increase, if the item sells above £50, as it must then be sent Royal Mail Guaranteed Next Day Delivery, due to insurance, so please wait for me to invoicde you.
Thanks.
