Item: The Beatles - Sgt Peppers black and silver Stereo label UK LP in a Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold fully laminated sleeve. Beautiful condition 1969 One box EMI label stereo issue which were only available for a short time. The gatefold laminated sleeve has a more vivid colour than any earlier issues. This has to be the best condition Beatles record and sleeve which is fully complete and the best i have come across as its like it was when it left the shop virtually museum condition i doubt you will find a better condition one. I will list the minor faults below and i am being extremely picky because the condition on all the items are amazing, simply stunning condition and it would be one purchase you wouldn't need to upgrade.

Detailed Descriptions

The Sleeve: NM Simply stunning sleeve there are no scuff marks or laminate lifting to the front cover which is really hard to find like this condition. There is very slight marks above the figures very light brown marks and it looks like a pen mark above Stuart Sutcliffe these are very minor and barely noticeable. There are no creases to the front cover and no ringwear or rips or tears. The spine is superb and all text is clearly readable with no laminate missing or tears or creases. All edges of the sleeve are sharp no rips or tears. There is a laminate bubble to the rear and small crease with some laminate lift just above the EMI logo also a smaller crease above near the word dream lastly there is a very small laminate bubble to the bottom right corner and 2 other very small creases to the bottom. Inside the gatefold is stunning clean condition with no staining, marks or creases also the flipbacks are sharp and clean. There is no ringwear or seam splits anywhere and the cover gleams in the light (being the later darker deeper coloured sleeve) simply stunning so hard to find in this condition.

Inner Sleeve: NM Lovely condition no seam splits rips, tears, stains, discolouration or stain spots.

Card Insert: NM Has one minor light crease hardly noticeable no rips, tears, cuts or writing and all complete.

The Labels: EX+ Has one mark on side one which is barely noticeable and maybe one spindle mark on each side really nice condition hardly played.

Record Visually Graded: EX The record has a lovely sheen and even in strong light its beautiful condition there are some (only some) light scuff marks to both sides (from taking the record out of the paper inner sleeve) and none of which can be felt which doesn't detract from the lovely condition and only visible in strong light otherwise there are NO other marks. Only graded down to EX because of the very light scuff marks otherwise would be NM.

Record Playback: NM Plays quietly even through the quiet parts there is barely any crackle just lovely crisp sound throughout plays without skips, clicks or jumps. A splendid time guaranteed.

Please note that the record has been professionally cleaned on a record cleaning machine with a non alcohol cleaning solution

I use the following grading system:

M=Mint: The record/sleeve is brand new condition. Just like when first pressed and the record will have no deterioration in sound quality. All items including lyric sheet poster etc are in perfect condition.

NM=Near Mint: The record or sleeve may just marginally be off new condition and have the odd minor flaw.

EX=Excellent: The record shows signs of being played, but there is hardly any lessening in sound quality. The cover might show signs of wear.

VG=Very Good: The record has been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality. Despite the odd occasional surface marks and the odd light scratch. The cover will shows signs of usage without any major defects.

G= Good: The record has been played numerous times and the sound quality has deteriorated and plays with distortion. The cover will have seam splits, scuffing of edges, discolouration and creases/ing.

F=Fair: The record has not been cared for properly and has loud surface noise but is still just playable. The sleeve will be torn, stained/defaced.

P=Poor: The record will not play properly due scratches and will have bad surface noise. The cover will be damaged and even have parts missing.

B=Bad: The record is unplayable possibly broken, which would only be considered as a collection filler.

I use a plus and minus signs +/-  to show if marginally better or worse condition.
