Description
The Beatles ‘Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band’ Original Mono Pressing. Early Rare Wide spine sleeve.
The early ‘wide spine’ sleeves to these mono (and stereo) pressings of this famous album were quickly withdrawn after it was found that they took up far too much room when delivered to the music retailers, so it was only the first and most early copies that received covers with this almost book like format, with subsequent pressings receiving the far more common thinner sleeves. This rarer copy bears a 0.9 cm spine in comparison to the standard just under 0.5 cm and is also a very respectable fine example too.
