Description
The BEATLES WHITE ALBUM Stereo No. 0349864. With Rocky RACOON spelling mistake on side 2 label.
Complete with 2 black die cut inners, 4 portrait pictures and lyric sheet/poster.
Cover: Genuine UK Top Loading gatefold with ‘stereo’ on the back, top right hand corner, with first pressing number 0349864. Some ringwear, laminate creasing and general handling wear over the years. Obviously not as white as it once was. A good, clear, legible spine. Very clean on the inside. No writing, stickers, rips or tears. Overall a VERY GOOD example from 1968.
RECORD 1: Side 1- YEX 709-1 (4 PH) Side 2- YEX 710-1 (5 H) Both sides are very clean and relatively unmarked. Visual EXCELLENT. The audio rates as VG+. Minor crackles and clicks only. No deep pops or jumps or sticks. The labels have relatively few spindle marks and are clean and excellent with no writing or stickers.
Side 2 has the VERY RARE Rocky RACOON misspelling.
RECORD 2: Side 3 YEX 711-1 (3 TO) Side 4-YEX 712-1 (0 AL) Again this looks excellent, clean vinyl and plays with very minor occasional background noise. EXCELLENT all round. The labels are especially, clean and unmarked.
BLACK INNERS: These do have a few rips and tears, but still do their job. VG overall.
4 PHOTOS: VG. Some slight water stain to Paul and a few creases on the surfaces.
POSTER: Excellent. Folds out clean and unmarked with no rips or tears or writing.
Overall a VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT white album with a very rare label mistake. These infrequently come up for auction on ebay so don’t miss out on this one!
