Beatles - "The Beatles' Story" - Japanese double LP box set

Apple - EAS-77007.8 - 1980s

 

This is a Japanese reissue of the 1964 (?) US double album, but done so much better.

The two LPs are presented, along with an LP-sized 20-page booklet, in a deluxe hinged box made from heavy duty card. There is even an obi.

The whole package is in mint condition. The records have never even been out of their excellent quality polythene inner sleeves. The obi fell off when the glue failed after a few years in my collection, so it now resides inside the box.

For anyone who does not know about this album, it is a documentary about the Beatles. There are no Beatles songs on the LPs, but there are interviews with all four Beatles
