Description
This auction is for an LP by The Beatles, self-titled “The Beatles”.
It was put out on Apple Records in 1968, as # SWBO-101 as a double album.
It is known as The Beatles “White Album”, where the individual albums received serial #’s displayed beneath the The Beatles embossed logo on the album's front.
It came with a poster (photo collage on one side, the song listing with verses on the back) and four photos of the individual Beatles.
This particular album is a low, numbered 0043133.
The album cover is still bright white & shiny, with almost “0”ring wear.
No tears, slits or staining. Some very faint edge wear…very faint.
The photo’s give you an idea of the condition.
The poster is excellent plus as are the 4 photos.
The vinyl rates out as excellent. Very little playtime over the past 46 years.
The vinyl matrix runoffs:
SWBO 1-101-J45 1
SWBO 2-101-B35 1
SWBO 3-101-B35 1
SWBO 4-101-B35 1
The only “flaw” would be a very small abrasion on 1 of Apple labels (tape mark?) that had been removed & re-colored.
Other than that…this is one nice double LP for the collector.

Summary: A very nice original example of what we have come to know as The Beatles “White Album”.
Best copy that I’ve come across in years.
Best of Luck.
