Description
THE BEATLES - "WHITE ALBUM" (APPLE - SWBO-101) COMPLETE WITH ALL INSERTS AND NUMBERED COVER FROM 1968! NICE!
For your consideration, this iconic album, simply referred to as "THE WHITE ALBUM" (SWBO-101) by THE BEATLES. This copy is numbered A2067180.
RECORD: VG to VG+ with some superficial scratches & scuffs. I played this album in its entirety and it sounded great! There was just some light "ticks" in some areas along with minimal surface noise. The vinyl retains much original gloss, especially Record 1. This is actually a second pressing, showing Record 1, Side 1, Track 6 as "The Continuing Story Of Bungalow Bill". The very first pressings show the title simply as "Bungalow Bill" and are quite scarce. The labels are very clean and original with just some spindle marks noticed. The B-Side labels have the Capitol logo along the lower edge. See photos!
COVER: VG with number A2067180 stamped on the front, lower right corner. There is a 3-inch upper seam split to the first pocket along with a 4-inch split to the upper seam of the second pocket. Very tiny splits are noticed on the bottom seams beginning at the open end. This cover remains very white and clean, though there is some light scuffing from contact with other albums over the years. Most of the original gloss on this cover remains. "THE BEATLES" is embossed on the front, above and to the left of the stamped number. There is absolutely no tape or stickers anywhere on this album, but there is a name written in black ball-point inside of one of the pockets at the open end; very minor detraction.
INNER SLEEVES: Plain White.
PHOTOS & POSTER: The FOUR individual glossy pictures of the Beatles are included and were produced on medium-stock paper. There is just some wrinkling noticed, mostly about the corners. Ringo's picture appears to have the most wrinkling or creasing. The poster is all there, albeit with some wear along the folds as well as overall wrinkling and tiny splits having started at the at the folded areas. This is still very presentable poster. Please See all 11 photos!
GOOD LUCK!
