Description
This is the original radio only release of Close Up. The Beatles Silver Anniversary, released on United Stations Programming Network (USPN) in 1987. These were meant to be played throughout July, 1987 for the Beatles' 25th anniversary. Afterwards they were supposed to be mailed back to the USPN to be destroyed, but this batch survived.
The records have been visually graded and are between EXCELLENT and NEAR MINT condition. They are all in remarkable condition with some of them having some mild dirty streaks. I couldn't see any scratches or scuffs.
The jackets are between VERY GOOD+ and EXCELLENT condition. Some have hand-written radio station stickers denoting when they would have been played. Most have minor ring wear on the rear face.
Two of the original mailing return cards are included in mint condition.
There are not many of these sets around anymore; much less in this good of shape. Grab it while you can.
