Description
Up for sale is a 45 from my Dads collection. The Beatles 45 - Please Please Me, Ask Me Why. It is a Disk Jockey Advanced Sample This 45 HAS The Beatles misspelled as "The Beattles"!
Vee-Jay when they pressed and printed the labels for the record did not know at the time how to spell The Beatles correctly so they took their best shot. It was corrected but some 45s DJ and Normal made it out with the misspelling.
my DAD has this record marked as Side 1 M- Side 2 NM (he has graded thousands of albums and 45s)
My dad is no longer around to tell me anymore about this 45 so I presented this to the best of my knowledge from what he told me.
on the Ask Me Why Side, the record had some bleeding from another 45 that stained the white label red (see photo)
on my inspection of the 45 on the finger run around on the outside rim of the 45 there is no pitting, same for the inside.
i can not find any pitting on the 45 its self, there are surface scratches but I do not believe that it affects the play quality. i would test but all my tables need belts or needles.
I myself (not the expert) would list this record in fair + condition.
because everyones rating system is different, this will be sold AS IS - NO RETURNS
if you need more picture, or have questions PLEASE ASK!
insurance will be included and the 45 will be shipped out priority mail international bidders feel free to bid!
Free shipping to the United States, Discounted shipping world wide!
(book value in the condition my dad determined is $1100, research of other auctions for the non DJ versions are right under $1000 ask for reserve is interested, will disclose to interested buyers, reserve is much much lower then above figures)
