This auction is for The Beatles Collection, a limited edition, 14 LP record boxed set, released by Mobile Fidelity Sound Laboratory (MSFL), by the Victor Company of Japan. This set is numbered 9175 and I am selling it for the original owner. This set is in excellent condition. I was told by my friend, who bought the set new, that he never played the records. They've sat in humidity controlled storage since new. However, the records do have are some small and light scratches on the them. You have to be looking for them to notice them as they are quite minor. I mention them in the interest of full disclosure, as the records really are in very nice condition.

The black box is also in excellent condition, with a few tiny blemishes that you have to look hard to find. The brass clasp that holds the two flaps of the box together is a bit tarnished, but this is a very common problem for this set and it does not detract from the appeal of this particular set. Given that is 25 years old, this is as close as you’ll find to a “mint” set without paying thousands of dollars.

Included in this set are the following 14 LPs: Please Please Me, With The Beatles, A Hard Day's Night, Beatles For Sale, Help!, Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Magical Mystery Tour, Yellow Submarine, The White Album (2 discs) Abbey Road and Let It Be.

Also included is a Geo Disc to assist you with alignment of your turntable and cartridge for best sound performance, a large color booklet, warranty card and Certificate of Authenticity.   The certificate of authenticity is actually the first part of the booklet. This MFSL LP has a special static free, dust free inner sleeve and heavy-duty protective packaging

This LP box set has been out of print for 25 years and is highly collectible. If you are thinking of adding it to your collection, this is definitely the one to bid on. You will not be disappointed.
