In this auction:

·       “THE EARLY BEATLES” LP by the Beatles

·       This LP is Apple Records ST 2358.

·       It’s a Stereo LP.

·       This LP was originally released March 22, 1965.

·       This APPLE RECORDS PRESSING has “Mfd. by Apple…” in the perimeter print which indicates that it was released 1971 – 1975 in Capitol–marked covers made of cardboard with paper slicks pasted on.

·       This vinyl record and cover came from Capitol’s Winchester plant. We know this because:

1)   The COVER has the number 12 on the rear cover at bottom right. According to Perry Cox, issues from Capitol’s Winchester pressing plant have this number.

2)   The VINYL trail-off has a triangle with a line connected to one of the corners which is the symbol for Capitol’s Winchester plant.

·       THEREFORE, this is the CORRECT VINYL for this COVER or this is the CORRECT COVER for this VINYL!!!

·       The COVER is in NEAR MINT MINUS CONDITION and still in its ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP. There is just a very tiny push and a very tiny bit of wear on the bottom right corner and slight aging of the white reverse near the opening. The original shrink wrap has protected this cover very well over the past 40+ years!

·       The VINYL is also in NEAR MINT CONDITION with lots of gloss!

·       Getting an LP that is mint and still sealed is great; but, I always believe that getting a Near Mint LP still in its original shrink wrap is the next best thing to that still sealed LP.
