Description
The first Beatles albums of this type I purchased in the late 1960's and early 1970's were on this particular label. I have always referred to these particular albums as the "Genuine Trademark of Quality Discs" , the one with the hog or pig logo. I found all out-take releases by this company to be of superior quality to the few others I was fortunate to initially find at that moment in time.
This particular disc consists of studio out-takes from the Beatles' Get Back sessions and includes interesting alternate versions and also longer versions in many instances (as with Dig It) of songs from Let It Be. While there may be many other versions/collections of these or similar recordings, I know the pressing of this disc is among the first releases of these versions. I purchased this copy myself over 46 years ago.
I am not a record dealer. All my listings are from my own personal record collection. My collectibles are composed primarily of releases and artists who released albums in the 1960's and 1970.
