Description
The Beatles Norway "The Long and Winding Road / For You Blue" 45rpm.
This is a very rare Beatles record /sleeve - , especially in such fantastic condition!!!
This copy is a TOP COPY! One will be very hard pressed to ever find another copy, especially the sleeve, in such incredible, preserved condition!
The sleeve is ultra sensitive with the white background - I have had many copies of this 45 and the rest, though VG++ still was very prone to ring wear & dog eared corners.
The record plays fabulous as well! It looks like it was barely played. The vinyl & the labels are NrMT.
The sleeve is at minimum VG+++. I grade it as EX due to the fact, being that the sleeve is ultra sensitive to damage - and that it was pressed 56 years ago. Everyone who has sold the 45 in the past (except for the past owner of this 45 whom I purchased it from) & described the sleeve as EX was exaggerating.
In my opinion, due to the flimsy stock of paper, and the minimal defects it portrays grade, I would grade it as a solid EX.
There is very minimal ring wear & some creasing. The corners & edges are generally crisp. There are zero splits or rips.
***I guess what I am saying is that this is probably the condition of the sleeve that one would have found during 1970, sitting on a shelf/rack in a Danish record store!***
As always I ask that one judges the images for themselves, as well all have different opinions about what to grade a vintage record, especially one so difficult to hunt down in Amazing Condition!
The record will be shipping in a top loader. The sleeve & record are each protected with archive quality 4mm poly sleeves (the record is also in a heavyweight, protective paper sleeve within the poly sleeve.
It will be packaged and shipped with great care and promptness of delivery!
I am open to accepting all reasonable offers!
