Description
April 21st, 1964 1st Japanese pressing of this rare record. Polydor Japan rush-released this single in the Spring of 1964 to try and piggyback on some of the new huge popularity for The Beatles in that country. In their haste to release these songs recorded during their Hamburg days, Polydor famously spelt My Bonnie as My Bonie on the sleeve (see photos). Further pressings in later years corrected this mistake. Another classic error is the cover photo showing the Beatles in Paris, with Ringo in the band. Of course, when these songs were recorded it was Pete Best on drums, long before Ringo joined. It's a great collector's piece.
