Description
The Beatles 'The White Album' LP. Apple, 1968. Double Gatefold, Top Opening Sleeve. Poster and Photographs are present, poster has seam damage but is intact, photo's are EXCELLENT. Black Inner Sleeves. Copy Number is 0125897. Original 1st Press MONO. Matrix Numbers are XEX 709-1/ XEX-710/1 / XEX 711/1 / XEX 712/2.The Discs are between G+/VG++ Condition would be higher but for track1 side 1 "Back in the USSR"which has been played with too heavy a tracking weight,etching the first minute or so rendering it unlistenable.apart from that the rest of the lps play fine with occassional crackle and the odd light click. The Sleeve is VG+, wear to the openings and some mild corner creasing, laminate lifting a little off of spine.We originally had this listed with a much higher start price until we test played it.Still a worthy addition to a collection or to split for "spares".Someone had the photos alone up for £9.99 last week!
