Description

I am selling this original 1968 vinyl copy of The Beatles' classic White Album. This is a bit of an anomaly because the first record is a mono first pressing (YEX 709-1 / YEX 710-1) and the second record is a stereo second pressing (YEX 711-1 / YEX 712-1). While both records have light scratches / marks on them, they generally look great for their age – nice and shiny. I played through both records and they sound really good. I didn't hear any jumps or skips, just a bit of light crackling in quieter places. All in all, I would say that they are in VG+ condition (I'm no expert).
The sleeve is a top-loader, numbered 186250. The sleeve is quite scruffy with some staining, some handwriting on the back (see picture) and a spine that you can barely read, though it is in one-piece. The records come in the original black sleeves, which are also quite scruffy, though they are intact. The poster is still with the record, though is torn along the seam (see picture). And the photos of the four Beatles also come with it, and are in really good condition.
Like I said, I'm no expert but it was a real pleasure listening to these records. They are not 100% perfect but they sound very respectable. Combined with the reasonably low number on the sleeve, I'd say this is a very decent example of one of The Beatles' best albums.
