Description
I am selling some early, rare, and rather obscure Beatles LPs from my collection. So, please check my other auctions too.
In this auction:
· “THIS IS WHERE IT STARTED” by The Beatles with Tony Sheridan and the Titans
· This LP is Metro Records MS-563.
· It is the RARE STEREO PRESSING of this LP. Stereo copies of this LP are tough to find!
· This LP was released August 15, 1966.
· This is a repackage of the MGM album “The Beatles With Tony Sheridan And Their Guests” (which I have listed in another auction) less 2 songs by the Titans.
· This is an MGM Bloomfield pressing, because “Side 1” is left of the center hole.
· Please refer to the image of the rear cover for listing of the songs on this LP.
· Here is an early U.S. Beatles pressing when ALL of the record labels (except Capitol Records, of course) were trying to find, gain the rights to and release any and every recording made by The Beatles!
· The VINYL is in STRONG VG+ CONDITION. There are just a few very light surface hairlines/scuffs and lots of gloss!
· The COVER is in STRONG VG+ CONDITION. There is a slight and light crease near the lower right corner, very light wear on the top right corner, and 1-inch cracking at the bottom of the seam (please see images). There is NO WEAR on the seams at all! The reverse is NICE, CLEAN and WHITE with slight aging and a tiny sticker stain.
· It’s a VERY NICE HARD-TO-FIND STEREO PRESSING of this Metro Records Beatles LP to add to your vinyl collection.
