Description
Offered is "Magical Mystery Tour" by The Beatles. This is a U.K. EP release on the Parlophone label, SMMT-1. This is a scarce crossover variation which is believed by the experts to have been issued in 1967/1969. The two 7" 45 rpm records have solid centers as opposed to the "push out" types commonly seen for this title. Sides 1 & 2 have the print on the labels which state, "SOLD IN U.K. SUBJECT TO RESALE PRICE CONDITIONS, SEE PRICE LISTS" These labels are consistent with the first pressing 1967 issue labels. Sides 3&4 are without the SIUK print but still have the solid center. This label variation is consistent with the 1969 pressings. The SIUK print was phased out in mid 1969. In addition, the gate fold EP cover is a Mono (MMT) variety but features a Red STEREO sticker affixed below the (Mono) MMT-1 print! The attached booklet has the Blue lyric pages present.
