Description

The Beatles US 45 Swan S-4152 She Loves You / I'll Get You Rare Variation RECORD

Comes with original picture sleeve as shown.



It is said “She Loves You”, ignited Beatlemania in America, though is was a struggle for Beatles manager Brian Epstein to find a US label to release it. After Capital Records and Vee-Jay passed, the small Philadelphia  based label, Swan, took a chance. At first it was a flop, though after the Jack Par show & Ed Sullivan show the small Swan label reaped the reward for explosion of Beatlemania! The Black/Silver label of 4152 “She loves you” & “Ill Get You” is a historically important record in music history and an unquestionable must have for any serious Beatle Collector!



Record is in very nice condition, no blemish that would interfere with playing. If you tilt it slightly in the right light you can see some shallow scratches, and some build up that will probably come off with proper cleaning. There is one scratch on the un-grooved are of the lead-in that is deeper, though it does not touch the grooves. The label looks good, some pencil marks over “Swan” on one side.  Sleeve is intact, has some discoloration, stains, marks and bent corners. Slight tear at left side opening.
