This is the album that kick started the 'Paul is dead' rumours, released only in Canada in 1969 on Polydor Records (242-008). Note on the cover that one of the four candles is snuffed out. This is to represent Paul McCartney supposed death. As a result, this LP has gained great historical importance and has become very collectible.

This stereo LP is on the traditional Orange Polydor Special Record Labels, with ‘Made In Canada’label rim.

Both record labels are in impressive Excellent condition, a very clean set of record labels, with NO handwriting or fading to the, and just light signs of play to the centre spindle holes on both record labels.

Side A stamped matrix: 6 P 1961 B8 and Side 2: 7 P 1961 B8.
Both sides of the vinyl disc are in superb undamaged Excellent Plus condition, beautiful bright vinyl surfaces, with just a few light surface hairlines.

The LP plays with superb sound quality from beginning to end, great to hear all of the early 1961 Beatles Tracks

And is protected in it’s picture sleeve.

The sleeve is in clean and in Excellent Minus condition, no seam splits, just light rub marks to the edges, and light record ring wear to the front and back .

The liner notes on the back cover are by George Harrison. This LP features the classic 1961 Hamburg recordings with Tony Sheridan (their very first professional recordings). This LP features the only Beatles song ever written by John & George ('Cry For A Shadow')
