Description
I bought this double album brand new as a teenager when it was first released, who would have thought that what I saw at the time as a strange embossed number on the sleeve would be so important 50 years later.
The Beatles, "White Album", double-LP, original 1968, Apple Records, UK MONO, Early No. 0111167, Condition is Used.
UK Apple Records PMC 7067, 7068
With disc matrix numbers XEX 709-1 / 710-1 / 711-3 / 712-1
Contains the 4 original portrait photo cards in good condition
Embossed, fully laminated, low numbered (No. 0111167) gatefold sleeve
Sleeve is in fairly decent, intact condition, with just slight creasing / edgewear - no tears or writing, mostly clear spine text & a clean inside cover (see photos)
Black inner sleeves intact, some creasing
The labels are all very clean
Disc side 1 a few marks, a small skip on USSR - but otherwise plays very well
Disc side 2 a few marks - but plays very well
Disc sides 3 & 4 are in very good condition and play very well
Overall I think it's a very acceptable example of the White Album and plays very well, great to listen to.
I don't have the poster anymore unfortunately.

The Tax Code - KT - is embossed on Disc Side 4
Side 1, 2 and 4 have matrix ending - 1 Side 3 matrix ends - 3 I've been looking for info regarding the - 3 on side 3 but not found anything, if anyone would like to message me. On 19-Aug-20 at 20:14:01 BST, seller added the following information:
Thanks to those messaging info.
I can confirm the Mother/Stamper codes as:- Side 1 are: 1 and G Side 2 are: 2G and GRA Side 3 are: (clear) and GRD Side 4 are: 4 and AR
There is a small amount of static and noise between tracks and quiet tracks mainly on Side 1
