Description
Now a really special Beatles auction, back in 1983 Westwood One broadcast a 3hr Beatles program in the USA called rock n roll never forgets - the Beatles these are the actual discs used for the broadcast along with original cue sheets. The discs have the look and feel of acetate discs 4 of the 6 are double sided and 2 have a side 10 which is actually a backing plate. The cue sheets are for the 9 segments of the show that totals 3 hrs featuring nearly 40 of their best loved tracks, adverts and loads of amazing interviews with the band and others associated with the band. Each cue sheet has blue pen ticks / crosses used to denote completion during broadcast.
As mentioned there are 9 sides of the 3 extra sides two are backing plates and 1 is an extra side 6 which has wrote on it in blue 'don't use use extra disc'
All discs are labelled with 'not for sale for broadcast only' absolute minimal play and tiniest spindle marks can be seen - I am playing through the entire set (very carefully) to check they are as good as they look but to be honest mainly because it's a fantastic show and I'm really enjoying it!
All six discs come in black poly lined inners and further in plain white gatefold sleeves - of course they do how very Beatles - the inners and sleeves like everything else are superb.
If you have any questions just drop me a line an id be happy to assist, happy bidding on this absolute gem from 1983.
