Description
This auction is for the vintage record album pictured here. "The Beatles" self-titled "White Album" double record set on Apple Records SWBO 101. This is a vintage copy from 1968 that has the embossed & numbered (#1354192) cover. The cover has wear with a 5" seam split across the top front and a center split top back. The bottom back has a 2" split and a small tape piece on the bottom front. The spine has shelf wear. The vinyl is fair to good for being over 50 years old. There are scuffs and scratches, static and skips, but most songs play fine. This early pressing is unbanded (no visible gap between songs) on side 1 only. The labels are clean. Has original inner sleeves. All inserts are present. Poster/lyric sheet (tears on some of the folds). Four heavy weight color photos, one of each Beatle. John has a circle indent from the record - only noticeable in certain light (Ringo as well, slightly less). Also has the usually discarded faded blue spacer sheet! Not really a playing copy but, just a neat original copy to have for the historical significance of this amazing album. Please view photos. Great songs by John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison & Ringo Starr include: "Back in the USSR", "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da", "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", "Blackbird", "Rocky Raccoon", "Birthday", "Helter Skelter" and more!
