The Beatles - The White Album

Apple PMS 7067/7068, First pressing MONO, November 22, 1968 (UK) 

Very Low Numbered Top Opening Laminated Gatefold Cover 0001971 

Comes complete with original black sleeves, 4 x John Kelly portrait photo's and collage poster/lyric sheet!

ALL -1/-1 MATRIX NUMBERS!

Misprint:  "An EMI Recording" text not printed on any side

Side 3 & 4 stampers 1/GP + 1/GP  with matrices XEX 711-1 / XEX 712-1 


Full laminated white gatefold cover have flaps on the left and right sides of the open gatefold with openings at the top. The front of the cover has “The BEATLES” embossed in raised block letters. The stamped number 0001971 appears in gray on a slight downward angle towards the lower right corner. This item comes with the original black vinyl sleeves, four 28.8×20 cm. glossy John Kelly color portraits of the band, 85,8 x57, 2 cm While Hamilton collage poster, with the lyrics on the back.

Graded as follows:

Full laminated white gatefold cover numbered 0001971 (Yellowed due to ageing but retains original gloss, strong firm gatefolds, some spine damage so text not visible) VG+

Original black vinyl sleeves (One has two small tears, the other no damage at all) -EX

4 x Colour portraits (Absolute mint condition) M

While Hamilton poster (A few very small creases, no tears or ink etc) M-

Vinyls (Little sign of having been played, almost no sign of wear around labels, some careless hairline surface marks)  EX+

Mono Versions of the LP are much harder to come by than stereo. Especially low numbered sleeves. Copies numbered lower than 10,000 rarely surface on Ebay let alone copies lower than 2000! Have a look for yourself, then make a bid! :D
