Description
On auction, we have an original 1968 The Beatles White Album number A2188760. The plain white double folding cover has "The Beatles" impressed on the front and the number stamped below. Printed on the fold is "Stereo SWBO 101. This comes complete with the fold out poster and 4 portraits of the Beatles all on glossy paper. The back of the poster has the song lyrics. The 2 records have "SWBO-101" on the labels, but no E.M.I.. I believe this is in excellent vintage condition. The cover has a slightly crooked "The Beatles" and the glossy paper is short, leaving an exposed bit of cardboard on the bottom right corner. It has been rubbed with darker marks outlining the records and has a few scratches and spots. The portraits and poster are clean, crisp, bright and bold; but, the poster has a crooked fold on one edge. The poster has been handled and has a few light wrinkles. The records come in slightly toned plain white sleeves. One sleeve has 2 tears in the center. The records are clean, but may have my fingerprints. Side 1 has what might be 2 scratches and a "jacket rub" line. Side 3 has what look like eraser marks, maybe "jacket rub" lines. These have not been listened to, I have no record player. As I am not an expert on records, please view all photos for more description. My friend who collects everything is moving to a much smaller home and parting with some of his favorite things.
