Description
On offer is my 1974 French pressing of the White Album. This edition comes in an unnumbered, laminated gatefold sleeve and included are four one-sided sheets with pictures of the musicians plus insert. The sleeve is printed and made in Great Britain by Garrod and Lofthouse International Limited. LP production was contracted to Pathe Marconi for the UK market from 1973 to 1975 while the EMI Hayes plant was closed for reconstruction.
This pressing uses the first UK stampers (-1) made for the album. The M6 codes of the pressing plant Pathe Marconi EMI, Chatou indicates the pressing date in 1974. So we can also expect the release date for this year.
As always I will provide an honest assessment of the albums for the benefit of buyer and seller. If you have any questions, please contact me before bidding. Having play graded the albums I can confirm there are no pops, clicks or scratches and minimal surface noise during some of the quieter passages. Overall I am classifying the vinyl as EX. There are no marks on the labels and spindle wear is minimal.

The white, outer cover shows little signs of aging despite being over fifty years old. The insert and the four photos are in superb condition and I have replaced the usual in a sleeves with modern protective sleeves to look after the vinyl. The spine is fully legible.
This is an excellent repress of the fab four’s iconic double album and would make a great addition for any collector of Beatles albums. Thank you for looking. Please note that packaging will be first class to ensure a safe and secure delivery.
