Description
This is a 1996 Remastered Press of The Beatles White Album. It includes the poster and 4 picture inserts. Within the Gatefold it states 'This album has been direct metal mastered from a digitally re-mastered original tape to give the best possible sound quality'.
The matrix numbers are :
- Matrix / Runout (Runout side A, stamped): YEX 709-09-1-1
- Matrix / Runout (Runout side B, stamped): YEX 710-3-1-1
- Matrix / Runout (Runout side C, stamped): YEX 711-05-1-1
- Matrix / Runout (Runout side D, stamped): YEX 712-05-1-1
The vinyl themselves are in at least Excellent condition. There is some light crackle during some of the quieter moments, but nothing that interferes with the enjoyment of this lovely LP.
The outer gatefold is in Excellent Condition. I have only downgraded due to a couple of age spots and a small 1.5cm patch of edge wear on the top edge. The spine and remainder is strong and exactly as it should be.
The poster and picture inserts are also Excellent.
I grade all of my records according to The Record Collector Magazines grading system.
I always test play my records on a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Turntable with Ortofon cartridge stylus unless they are in near mint/ mint condition and appear unplayed but the description will state this. I don't sell records with deep scratches or marks that affect the sound quality and enjoyment.
All of our Vinyl is professionally cleaned using a Pro-Ject VC-S record cleaning machine.
The vinyl is then packaged in a protective anti static sleeve, the whole album placed into a protective outer plastic sleeve and then posted in a robust top of the range custom cardboard record mailer.
