Description
I am selling a first pressing of The Beatles' White Album on mono vinyl - number 0057972 (Apple, PMC 7067). This is a low number, making it a very sought-after record. The sleeve is in very good condition, with very little wear or stains, although it has yellowed slightly with age.
The records themselves are generally in very good condition, with just the odd surface scratch. I have played the records through and these barely affect the playability at all (just the very occasional crackle). They sound terrific.
The records are on the Apple label (please see photos for wording). The matrix numbers are as follows:-
Side One - XEX 709-1
Side Two - XEX 710-1
Side Three - XEX 711-1
Side Four - XEX 712-1
The only real downside to this fabulous and sought-after collector's item is that the record is missing the four postcards of the band, one of the black inner sleeves has been ripped and taped up, and much of the poster is missing and what remains is scruffy. If you are prepared to cope with these, or you have some replacements you can insert, you have a fabulous-sounding and very collectible Beatles record on your hands!
