The Beatles White Album 1st Issue Top Opening No.d Stereo Dark Green Apple Comp.
A truely superb copy of the Beatles classic album from 1968 in stereo and fully complete.
The dark green Apple labels are excellent and include "sold in the uk etc" and the corrected "An emi recording". There is no writing on them. The KT tax code is stamped in the centre of the side 4 label which is rare on a record produced in 1968.
The vinyl surfaces have a great sheen to them with a little bag rash. The record plays with no skips or sticks just a little background static in the quieter moments that a professional clean may improve.
The 2 black inner sleeves are close to the best pair I've seen. Just 1 has a small 2cm split and a little wear to the opening edge, the other is brilliant. There is very little creasing to either.
The cover is really superb with a brilliant shine to the front and rear panel and inner of the gatefold.There are a few tiny creases under the laminate but these are hard to see. The whiteness of the whole cover is near perfect. The 2 internal flaps are fully intact and there is no missing paper and no writing. The inside of the gatefold is just about perfect. The spine is fully readable. The unique number (No. 0499635) is fully readable and unworn as is the stereo indicator on the rear.
The 4 photographs of the Beatles are almost perfect with no writing or pin holes. The poster lets this package down a little in that it has some small splits where it is folded but is still nice and fully intact, there is no writing.

Quite simply a lovely rare copy in superb, I hope you won't be disappointed.
