Description
The Beatles - White Album This is an original 1968 UK stereo copy with a numbered (#0402520) top-loading laminated sleeve and Apple labels ("An EMI Recording" on all sides).
Sleeve: G+
Records: G/G+
I'm grading strictly on all counts here. The sleeve has mild yellowing, light ringwear and a few minor creases, but it's mostly the gouge on the spine that I'm marking it down for. Please see pics from all sides. Record one is visually quite scruffy with a number of marks and scuffs. Side 1 plays through OK on my set-up, but Martha My Dear skips a couple of times on Side 2. It's playable, but there is low-level crackle throughout most of Side 1 and the first half of Side 2 - it's often overpowered, there are points where you'll wish it wasn't there.
Record two is better both visually and audibly - it still has a few marks, but Side 3 plays through OK with only touches of crackle in quieter passages. Side 4 has little crackle, but does recurring pops through the second half.
Original black inners are present, but both have tears and tape repair. I'll include new polylined inners.

All records are packed well in sturdy mailers with stiffeners.
I'm a collector myself and endeavour to grade and package to a standard I would be happy to receive. Please check my other auctions for more Beatles and other 60s/70's LPs - I will gladly combine postage on multiple purchases (2 or 3 LPs post for the same price as 1 within the UK, and 4-6 are only £1 more).
If you have any questions, please just ask.
