The Beatles – White Album
You are bidding on a NM/NM copy of The Beatles White Album. This is a Direct Metal Master (DMM) audiophile reissue.
The records are glossy with no visible scratches. Labels are clean and bright. Vinyl weight is not specified, but it feels like 150 gram to me.
All four photo cards are present, are glossy and printed on heavy card stock. The six-panel full size poster has never been on the wall, and is clean and uncreased with no pin holes. The cover is clean and bright with only light taps to the corners. This record has always been stored in a mylar sleeve, which will be included.
The Direct Metal Master was remastered from the original analog tapes. Direct Metal Mastering is a process where the mold from which the records are created is metal instead of lacquer. This creates a more consistent final product over many pressings. For this reason, the Direct Metal Master process is considered to produce the finest sounding LPs.
I grade visually on the Goldmine standard. This record is from my personal collection, I have listened to it, and can attest that it plays crisp and clear with little to no surface noise.
