Description
Rare issue from late 1969. Incredibly high numbered cover. One of the last to be numbered (as they stopped ~ 3200000). Coveted transition cover that lacks the copyright notice inside the gatefold. This was very uncommon of a cover numbered in the 3 millions. Pressed at Capitol’s Los Angeles pressing plant.
Cover condition is VG+. Small area of paper loss to lower right corner. Some very light staining to the cover as pictured. Some shelfwear to corners. Spine is nicely intact and perfectly readable. Lower seam is nicely intact. Top front seam is half split. Top rear seam is 1/4th split.
Vinyl LPs (pressed by Los Angeles plant) are VG+ (vinyl disc one) and strong VG (vinyl disc two). These are certainly not the gem of this listing. Numerous light surface marks (especially on vinyl disc two, although playback sounds just fine!
Includes All four glossy photos. These are first issue photos from 1968. In excellent condition.
Does not include the folded poster.
