Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab released this audiophile pressing (MFSL 2-072) in January of 1982. It is, in my humble opinion, one of the best sounding versions available. Many years ago I had the rare opportunity of hearing a very first UK stereo pressing (made even rarer still because it was an import copy on the yellow/black Parlophone labels) and when I heard this MFSL release, I felt it sounded closest to that original 1st UK import copy. The bass guitar in particular is more defined, natural, and seemingly less "blurry" than on other pressings.
Gatefold Jacket: Excellent+.....very minor wear to spine and corners.....one inoffensive dent to upper and lower edge. Some minor age discoloration....inner gatefold is near perfect. Have a good look at the pictures.

Records: Excellent(+)*.....All 4 sides look beautiful and glossy... as do the labels. There are one or two marks and lines that are visible under strong light but do not have any significant bearing on the superb audio.
* PLEASE NOTE: A pressing flaw on Side 3 renders the second half of the last song ('Long, Long, Long') 'Poor' in grade. If you can deal with this relatively minor flaw you'll be very happy. However, due to this reason, the price for this (normally expensive) double Lp has been adjusted accordingly and will be "sold as is".
