CONDITION
Disc
Visual: Disc 1: EXCELLENT Disc 2: VERY GOOD
Disc 1 The record retains its original sheen and has only the minimum of ultra faint surface and whispy sleeve removal marks which are just visible in daylight. All in all a superb and fresh looking disc.
Disc 2 has surface marks and general scuffing visible in daylight but nothing deep or feelable. Both heavy duty discs lie 100% flat on the turntable.
Audio: Disc 1: EXCELLENT+ Disc 2: VERY GOOD+
Disc 1 has superb audio throughout. No evidence of groovewear or deterioration to the music signals. Tracks like ‘Blackbird’ and ‘Julia’ play without surface noise. Disc two has audible surface noise in places but there is no distortion or groovewear to the music signals themselves. The easily damaged ‘Savoy Truffle’ plays superbly. The only major audio fault are some faint ticks during the beginning of ‘Revolution no 9’. All in all both discs give a great listening experience. Neither record jumps or sticks.
Labels:
Side 1 VERY GOOD+ (Omits EMI) Side 2 EXCELLENT
Side 3 EXCELLENT- (Omits EMI) Side 4 EXCELLENT (Omits EMI)
A clean set of labels with only moderate signs of light spindle trails. None of the labels have any writing to them. (Some creasing to label 3 which is a manufacturing error)
Cover
EXCELLENT
An original 1968 wide spine 1st issue top opening numbered sleeve (0445380) showing only moderate signs of ageing and wear.
Inner-sleeves Good
Original 1968 black inners. Seams are split.
Poster Very Good
Original and genuine 1968 1st issue ‘lipstick’ poster with some minor seam splits along one fold line but still very much intact. There is no writing to any part of the poster front or back and there are no pin holes.

Original and genuine 1968 deep contrast photos on the thicker card. (John Lennon photo grades Exc- due to a crease line)
